Like most parents, I found that when my children got to a certain age it was, at times, difficult to understand them. It appeared to be a teenage epidemic:
somewhat like mononeucliosis. (Is that right?)

One day, as I was getting ready to go out, my son strode in, threw some books on the table, looked at me and said, "Hey Ma, (Ma?), I smark your threads"."

That was when I knew that I had been transported to another planet, in another galaxy.
