Free audiobook - Walden by Henry David Thoreau [Philosophy]

For Earth Day, Tantor Audio are offering a free download of their version of Henry David Thoreau's classic Walden, narrated by former ad agency executive Mel Foster, in mp3 format.

You'll have to sign up for their site and log in, but after that all you have to do is download from the special promo link on the regular product page. It's about 550 megs or so.

They're also having a 40% off Pulitzer Prize tie-in sale on award-winner audiobooks as well as the current Pulitzer nominees and finalists, with free shipping over $25 in the States, if anyone's interested. Enter the code prize at checkout to get the discount price, which will be good until April 26th.

If you'd like to read along on your device, we've several nice hand-formatted copies of Walden in our Patricia Clark Memorial Library right here on MR: Mobi, LRF, PDF.

And if you happen to need a different format, there's always Project Gutenberg's version.
