It's my second review this month. I admire Grace Krispy's energy and prolific reviewing + blogging. I don't think I'll ever get to that rate, but I'll tell myself that I'm just trying to make each review as polished as possible.

I like your "you might like this if you like..." Neat feature. I'd love to do something like that, but honestly, I'm bad at stuff like that. It's somewhat ironic-- I'm not one who likes to discuss books, and I'm no good at giving recommendations when someone says "I like XX book, what else would I like?" I read so much, you'd think I'd be able to manage that, but I'm more of a book hoarder in my head.

Those are some good tips- I'm in agreement with many of them. Most importantly, READ THE REVIEW POLICY- and read the types of reviews I do.... sometimes I get the impression some of the authors submitting think I'm more like a "rah rah I'll sell your book!" type of service. I'm always appreciative of requests that make it apparent the author understands my review style, and wants that type of review.
