As an off-topic side-note, there is good news and bad news regarding my recent purchase of the PRS-950, (if anyone cares
)...
The bad news, the seller realized as he/she was testing the unit before shipping that it was frozen and unresponsive (even after soft/hard resetting it)
!
The good news? The seller is attempting to have the unit replaced/fixed by Sony
and is going to offer me a (unknown as of yet) lower price than what I was going to pay!
I'm not sure whether to curse my luck or praise it...a similar event involving a purchase of a new monitor happened on my PREVIOUS eBay purchase a few weeks ago (but instead of a lower-priced replacement, I was offered a bigger monitor at a STEAL)...
But back on topic, my Platform case + touch light are on their way now...but they are going to be lonely for a little while.
