Yeah, OK. They scaled-back so much 650 sales have been practically zip for months. Awesome business decision.

Product cycle: you release at full price, discount and then closeout for the new series. That's the way of consumer electronics. And the 650 missed most of the Christmas season at the peak of it's value by being out-of-stock. Also, I fail to see how e-reader production would have any effect on PS3's or laptops. It's a big company.
