Which gives best value for money?

Photovoltaic Solar Panels, or
Solar Thermal ?
I don't know what solar thermal is. I think we only have the voltic ones? Maybe I should pay more attention.

In Queensland you have to use your own power first and the excess goes into the grid. But here's the trick. You pay 22c pkw and they pay you 52pkw. So you very cleverly maximise your credits by ensuring that you use more of their power. i.e. use electrickery when the panels are not pumping. Get the washing on early, run the pool early and late etc.

I keep thinking what a waste when it is Also considering spending more to make more power than we use. Tax free solar credits give a higher return than the bank.
