I didn't mess with the Kindle that updated itself to 3.1 with old jailbreak still installed yet, but I just went through the process with my 3.0.3 Kindle of uninstalling the screen saver hack (left linkss folder alone,) uninstalling the old jailbreak, updating to 3.1, installing new jailbreak, reinstalling screen saver hack. Worked flawlessly, thanks to all involved! And now with "hacks enabled" this jailbreak will prevent Amazon from stealth updating the firmware? Awesome!
