And is already full functional since this weekend (a few hours after I posted the last screenshots). I spent less than 3 days on that work... The question is: why PocketBook did not do it by itself? Why, instead his staff insulted me on their support forum? And why in response to these insults I should to raise the cost of their devices with LOT of my free work?.. Because if I release this port - it will be a completely different class devices, a higher class devices... Now I just enjoy reading on this device with CoolReader...

Say "thanks" to PocketBook and its caddish support forum staff...

I would rather say "thanks" to you for porting CoolReader on our devices.
I do not know what you have been going through with Pocketbook's staff. However, I would like to remind people of a little story which happened here not long ago, on Pocketbook 902's launch. The German-speaking folks do already know it and probably understood it better than me, so feel free to correct me if I am not precise in some point.
We had a user called
Passepartout who was very interested in Pocketbook 902. He kinda became enthusiastic about the thing, because it had a lot of features which he would enjoy. When he received the thing, he opened a thread and he promised and delivered a very detailed report about the device, probably one of the most thorough user reviews around here.
Alas,
Passepartout wasn't happy with the device. The screen didn't seem to him as readable as he had imagined, and that killed much of the pleasure for him. He returned the device eventually. However, when he announced these things, the thread became a flame thread. People praised or loathed Pocketbook, the device itself, and so on. Since some of the comments stated that perhaps
Passepartout's review could have some flaws or bias, he believed that his hard work was suddenly put in doubt and reviled, he felt insulted and he withdrew his review from the first post of his thread. It was one of the greatest reviews ever done for a device, even if it had been a personal bother for him. With his review,
Passepartout had rendered a service for many people who had entered the thread (which was the most visited in the whole Mobileread for a couple of days) became aware of Pocketbook 902's advantages and shortcomings. In the end we, the ones who had simply followed the evolution of his thread, managed to convince him that the community service of his great review had been the most important part of the whole experience, and his review is back up in the forum.
In this case, we have a situation with many parallels to the one that I've recalled here: we have you,
JimStar, whose effort has brought a result which can give a huge service to the community of Pocketbook users, who are not in Pocketbook's paycheck and certainly have not insulted you, but praised your work here and in other forums. We have your strife with some people who you consider have insulted you. And, just like in
Passepartout's case with his monumental review, you are the master of your own work: you are completely free to withhold your CoolReader port at your will, or to publish it with whatever license you feel appropriate. I own a Pocketbook 360, maybe I will not benefit of CoolReader in my device (I do in Android though), but here is hope that you will release the program to the public. You can count with a big Thanks/Danke/Gracias/Спасибо from everyone here, and possibly with a donation or two for your hard work from people who would like to treat you.
Just my two cents.
