I have ADE whining more often because I moved / deleted that is still in its library, than the other way around.
When you open a book in ade, it import it in it library. Books in the library can be anywhere actually. There it don't make sense to have to delete the file when you want to remove the book from the library.
I'm glad it don't delete the book IMHO. Though a "delete file on drive" checkbox, why not.
The ade folder is a bit like "download" folder for me.I use ADE only for download, and cheeking ePub when editing.
