that pretty much holds true for me as well except for during Basic Training (simply impossible), and on technical rock climbs where we actually roped into the rock overnight, just not a good mix. I did always sacrifice to bring a book backpacking though. my friends always thought I had a screw or 3 loose

Hey Natasha_fawn -- what kind of cat is that in your picture? At least, I think it's in the cat family?
I SO love frogs legs! and schnecken! and!!! oh *sigh*! bringing my kids back from Germany was so difficult! they had always eaten like proper little German children. trying to explain that frog legs and snails are not available at the local restaurant is pretty difficult!

when I was in Wyoming, you got a gift certificate every time you walked IN the door with a cart

Do you picture him falling asleep on a new Kindle?
I quite often sleep on my kindle! not intentionally though!

I am typically a wine drinker. for some reason my go to drink while flying is always a Bloody Mary. I usually stop at a bar prior to boarding and get one for my coffee cup that I fly with. maybe it's because I can have my drink and eat it too!

Just finished eating a baked sweet potato, collard greens, and some brown rice. Yum! They also offer add-ons, and I got the cheese add-on today -- natural rind cheddar and mild goat cheese. OMG the goat cheese is so good I just had to put it out of sight to stop eating it!
our local food alliance is really growing and becoming an influential entity here. I joined quite some time ago when it looked like a lost cause. we now even have pushed through permissions for backyard chickens in the local cities! I haven't eaten anything other than local meat, chicken and fish for 5 years other than traveling and in restaurants. more and more of the independent restaurants are now also making a point of serving as much local as possible

I think I am getting chickens this spring ;o). the local butcher and green store both carry local eggs and milk. the milk is still WAY too high! 6 bucks a quart is over the top!

I didn't see Pooh either, nor Desert-grandma.
when I did that, you got an email 3 or 4 days ahead of time and you could make 2 or 3 substitutions as well as having a couple of "never-evers"
