Perhaps it's because I'm in Oaxaca, Mexico, but I looked for a Kindle in the wild for well over a year. I wanted to see one to aid in my decision to buy one. Finally, I gave up, in June, and bought a Kindle DX. Within two weeks I saw a K2 6" in the wild and then there was an absolute innundation. In coffee shops, cafes, parks. Kindles everywhere.
