for what is worth, my UK reseller has just told me that the machines should arrive at the EU warehouse either friday or next Tuesday (!). I think I'm lucky if I get it first week of January

do not know about pocketbook, but ASUS DR900 is finally on the market, priced €299 (and a €20 voucher on ebooks) at
Mediaworld, though it looks like this is just a pre-order.
To get an idea of what it does, there is a
user manual, too (though it is in Italian).
