That's what we did, more or less. As one bathroom was on the same line as the kitchen sink, it was easy enough to plumb the two together. And there was never a time when the water draw from them was simultaneous so no problems with supply. While those were used in hot tropical climate, we use the same thing here in Japan which gets cold winters (it's 4c right now) and no problems with having enough hot water for the shower. Again, bathroom and kitchen each have their own heater, one being electric and the other gas powered.
