Well, I liked the book. Until I got to the end. It just stops. I mean — it literally just stops. No signs of the end of the book coming, go to start the next chapter and.... that's it.

Obviously of those trilogies that's really one very large book chopped into three paperback-sized chunks. Sigh...

And worse to come. The second book in the trilogy is £13.99 as a Kindle ebook. Hmm... The paperback isn't out until March 2011. Well, Feb 2011 if I order the US edition (for £3.70 on pre-order). Or I could buy the hardback 'used - like new' for £6.43 including postage.

But most likely I'll just forget about this series for two or three years. And remind myself to /always/ check that the series is complete and in paperback before starting!

Next: Something I bought when it was on offer (less than £1) back in February 2009. Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks.
