You might be misunderstanding me, I don't give a damn about the security measures as an individual act, I object strongly to the mentality that it is engendering in the populace. "we're all going through the same thing", did the Jews think this as they walked through the gates?
"Working together towards a common goal"? What goal is that? Preserving our way of life? Guarding our liberty?
Do you really think our government has learned from it's own history? Do you seriously doubt that there is a department somewhere in Homeland Security that has a list of every descendant from Arab nations? Do you believe that they don't have a list of every practicing Muslim in our country? Do you doubt that if the threat appears big enough they won't act on those lists?
The Rule of Law has been ignored by our country and we are all in far worse danger from that than from a bunch of raggedy terrorists with badly made bombs in their underwear.
