No ... just trying to help without being too obvious. And I hope you all are still having fun with it.
I do remember when I was trying to solve the last mystery contest - I just couldn't see what the author thought was so obvious as a clue. And got tangled up with trying to learn/understand all the "insider" jokes. Which were just there to be humorous. Heck - I even made charts with clues - didn't help me. All I should have done was carefully read the story and notice the clue(s) the author provided.
So I really do understand what you've been expressing here. And I'll continue trying to provide meaningful hints.
