Aprilbeginnings, what we're saying involves just using the computer, not the Sony software... if it automatically opens then close it before doing anything then look in My Computer under Windows... no other software running and see if you can see an extra drive to normal. If you do then that is your reader and you can add books to it by dragging and dropping...
