Beliefs have consequences. That isn't to say that certain beliefs should be censored, but no beliefs should be beyond criticism. What harm is there in believing in homeopathy? Probably very little, until a child dies as a result of his parents belief that diarrhea can best be cured by homeopathic medicines or a cancer patient dies because they relied on homeopathic remedies rather than Western medicine.
