			Some other personal observations:

I didn't like the note taking capability at all. I assume its just like the PRS-600 but I only know how the Kindle does it. First, I was suprised that the Sony had no keyboard entry for note taking (the popup keyboard is only for search and dictionary best I could tell). My handwriting was barely legible with the stylus input - Plus its annoying how it shows on the screen. I prefer the way the Kindle does it, which is more like Excel or word - a little icon showing there is a note which you can view in a pop up box. Again, this is a matter of preference. UPDATE/CORRECTION - You CAN use the keyboard and icon/display - just neither the salesperson nor I could figure it out.

Back to the font sizes - the more I look, the more I think the 350 won't work for these aging eyes. There was something that I noticed -- the PRS-300 seems to have better font sizes, albeit more limited, for a 5" reader. The medium font is more like something between the Medium and Large Font on the other readers. Maybe its because it was different books, but it was definitely noticeable. As I said the zoom, doesn't let you refine the font size for reading.

End of the day - I think I am going to hold off. I'm glad to see a new touch screen technology which doesn't take away from the clarity but can be used by those of us with fingernails. But I don't really need/want a touch screen for my reader and at its current price point, I just can't justify the upgrade for the better screen and size/weight reduction (which are nothing to sneeze at...if they offered a lower-priced version without the touch screen, I'd upgrade in a heartbeat).
