Living in Europe (Germany / Spain) and being a european with 2 european nationalities (French / British), I confirm "Jap" is offensive in those 4 countries, and for sure in many other european countries.

And to be on topic too, I just hope the new sonys will be quicker booting and uploading metadata than the 600.....
