I don't know how it is in EU and other parts of the world but Im hoping that in the next 5-10 years things will change. Either way, you can always come to U.S. remove DMR and comeback to wherever you are from. LOL

Not sure of the official rulings here in Australia, but I only do it when I buy an epub that has really bad formatting. Unfortunately Amazon seem to be the only players that will refund an ebook purchase based upon poor formatting of an ebook. When I say poor formatting, I'm talking excessive margins, which when you increase font size to readable (the margins increase with font size) you wind up with a narrow strip about 5-7 words across. Can't get a refund on the epubs, can't read them, so what does one do? Fix it themselves.
Amazon is good in you can view the sample first, so I'm guessing that will show exactly how they have formatted the ebook.
