Are you trying to tell us, that despite us asking for this for many, many months you haven't told them yet? ;-)
We are not asking Guys in Kiev to change version numbers, or something.
We are asking that instead of having three 15.2 versions we would have 15.2.08569, 15.2.10568, 15.2.35689, or perhaps 15.2.100728 for firmware compiled 28.7.2010.
Easy and simple.
All you need to do is change a single string in the "about device" screen and name .zip file with firmware correspondingly.
And keep them fiercely independent. It obviously produces great results ;-)
You do not have to do that.
We can continue to refer to firmware versions like this
"you know, it was in 15.2 that was posted by Forkosigan on jully the 16th on German forum as a link to Rapidshare server with the name swupdate_09Jun2010_360_de_ws_15_2.zip"
And, by the way. Will we see SDK corresponding to the newest firmware with English documentation?
This page
http://pocketbook-free.sourceforge.net/index.shtml looks quite obsolete, and English version here
http://pocketbook-free.sourceforge.net/en/index.shtml is even older.
