I have discovered something at which both the Nook and the Sony PSR-600 blow away the Kindle, and that's reading PDFs. Both the Kindle and the Sony can enlarge the page, but moving the page around on the screen each time you come to the end of a line is a PP way to read a document. But in addition, the Sony can reflow the text itself, something the Kindle can't do; so by keeping the default page size and changing the font, you can easily read PDFs by using only the page-turning capabilities. The Nook automatically reflows the text, but the formatting isn't quite as good as on the Sony, because the Nook doesn't automatically resize the images; thus getting to the same place in the document using only page turns takes longer.

Imagine that! Something even the Nook does better than a Kindle!
