Adding the lrf files to the card manually also doesn't work.

There is currently only one way for me to add new books:
1. copy the whole content from the SD card to my hard drive
2. format the SD card, deleting everything on it.
3. copy the whole content back to the card, except the calibre files and the Sony Reader folder

THEN the reader does recognize all files, but this really nerve wrecking if I just want to add one more book.

I hope this problem is known to anyone (and the solution as well )

EDIT:

I now found out, that I don't have this problem when I transfer the books to the internal space of the reader instead of the SD card. But that won't do for me.
...have you tried another SD card?
