Harry Potter goes digital (at least a preview of him)

Yeah, well, it's not exactly a full digital Harry Potter, but considering Ms. Rowling's shortsighted stance on e-books, it's a milestone. LibreDigital, the European unit of NewsStand, is letting you search and preview books from Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury through their "Look Inside" online service.

The service is Flash-based and you can try it out here.

Thanks to David of TeleRead for pointing out the news.

Well, not a single line of the novel is visible. Just front ~, back cover & an introduction by A. Smith. imho it's a bluff package. It's less than a teaser.
Normally you would get at least the 1st chapter to read.

It's still a far way to go for a legal Harry Potter e-book.
