onenow vs usunlocked?
Hi, has anyone tried onenow(www.onenow.com)?
It seems cheaper than usunlocked which I saw quite many times in this forum. (At least the onenow doesn't have the 10% service fee.) I've no experience of either site. Are they reliable? James |

Haven't heard of that one but you could also check out shipito which has been recommended here.

I have used US Unlocked many times and I never heard of this other one, so I went and had a look. Here's what I found:
First of all: Contrary to OneNow US Unlocked re-packs and consolidates your shipments for free. All clothing items, for example are re-packed into plastic bags, which helps you save money in a huge way. When shipped in a box, you are charged for the volumetric weight, which is usually much higher than the actual weight. Which brings me to the following: how is the volumetric weight calculated? You start of by multiplying h x l x w, but then you have to know what to divide it with. US Unlocked uses 166 as the dim factor and OneNow 134! A simple calculation: the rate of a box measuring 25 x 15 x 10 will be charged on a volumetric weight of 23 lbs at US Unlocked and a whopping 5 lbs more at OneNow. Furthermore US Unlocked will re-pack in a smaller box or into a bag, bringing down the lbs even more. The 10% you are referring to is the personal shopping fee and they are the same for both websites. |

I have used www.shipito.com several times, quick service, never had any problems. They seem cheaper, since they do not charge a service fee, just a small surcharge on the shipping.
