AZW3 Converted file on Kindle Oasis: Last paragraph doesn't always show

I have converted several ePub books to AZW3 on Calibre (Mac OS), and sometimes, on my Kindle Oasis, the page will appear as if it's the end of a chapter (lots of white space at the bottom).

Then, when I flip to the next page, the first sentence typically won't make sense, so I do a page-up to re-read the last sentence, and the rest of the page will be filled in with an additional paragraph of two.

Has anyone else seen this? Is this a setting in Calibre's conversion dialog that is wrong, or is this just a Kindle Oasis bug?

(First time Kindle owner, btw)

Firmware 5.7.8.0.1 has recently been released for the Oasis. Give that a go and see if your problem still remains.

Pretty sure it's an Oasis bug, though it may happen on other Kindles. It's been reported by other Oasis owners on this forum. Not sure whether it's been corrected with the latest software update or not. When it happens, it doesn't happen that often. I'll have to read with it for a while to see if the problem's been corrected.

It doesn't happen with converted mobi files, only with converted azw3.
