Any MyBBC users out there? Is anyone able to advise me on how I need to set the various properties (cookies?) to see my preferred panels and set up?

I have tried both full blown web pages and the stripped down text versions but, whilst some content is converted, some of my specified content (news, links, TV & movie times) are missing.

Any help appreciated.

You created your own MyBBC user account? If not, do that first.

Then, you need to fish out the cookie that MyBBC created for you.

I recommend using Phoenix or Mozilla for that; there you can use the cookie manager to find the right cookie. Find the Cookie with the name "BBC-UID".

Then open iSiloX and go to the MyBBC entry. Double Left-Click. Go to the Cookies Tab. Double Left-Click on the one saved cookie there. Now, copy and paste the value from YOUR cookie to the value field in iSiloX cookie tab. See attached image.

Thanks for the assist - I was pretty sure it was cookie related but didn't know the route to take. I'll try the method above and see how I get on.

I used to look at MyBBC, but was disappointed that there was a quite small limit to the number of reports per category, which is not the case with the PC version. My solution is to create several different BBC Clips by using the low-graphics version of the BBC news website. There are dozens of different clip combinations you could set up, and you can even specify (via cookies) whether you want to view world news from a British or non-British perspective! You could get very detailed reports on numerous parts of the world or on sport, TV schedules etc.

Currently I run four clips:
BBC UK News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk/default.stm
BBC World News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/world/default.stm
BBC Science News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/sci/tech/default.stm
BBC Technology News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/technology/default.stm

In all cases I use a depth of 2 (according to the Plucker definition of depth), don't convert images and check the box which puts a separate icon on my launcher.

Basic, check the web channel collection. all the BBC low-graphics Links are included there They were configured extensively through include/exclude pattern in iSiloX and work very well this way.

Thanks for the tip though!!
