I anledning 100-års jubileet for Amundsens sydpolferd har jeg laget en epub-versjon av Amundsens opprinnelige beretning, basert på førsteutgaven skannet av Nasjonalbiblioteket. Den er rikelig illustrert med fotografier, noe som ellers har manglet i senere utgaver, samt kapitlene som stort sett har blitt fjernet fra senere utgivelser.

For den interesserte leser vil jeg gjerne anbefale Apsley Cherry-Garrard sin beretning om Scotts ekspedisjon, "The Worst Journey on Earth", tilgjengelig bl.a. på Project Gutenberg.
