Charging - Micro USB Adapter

Here is an inexpensive adapter that lets you use a USB Mini cable with your new Sony reader.

I bought one of these adapters from Deal Extreme. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.41527

Using a standard USB Mini cable (used by a Garmin GPS, Nokia N800, jetBook, etc.) and this adapter, I hooked it to my PRS-650. It worked just as well as the Sony USB Micro cable, including charging the reader.

This is a similar adapter. I have not tried this one. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.36150

Thanks for the reminder to pick up one of these. I have several mini cables around, but no spare micros, just the one that came with my 650; as I have no other devices that use a micro connection, it'd be pointless to buy another actual cable.
