My book is frozen

My book that I brought is froen on page eighty, it won't turrn pages , and the page settings don't show up when I tap the middle of the screen. It should also be mentioned that we are talking about a nook color, and by the waay, what use does rooting my nook hold.

Help me understand exactly what is happening, When you say it wont turn pages you mean backwards also correct? Also when you say you bought this book. Did it come from the Nook Store?

For your "by the way" Rooting may not be needed very shortly. Barns and Noble is sending out a software update sometime this month that should make the Nook act very much like a tablet and give you access to the android market store. Other wise that is what rooting you nook did.
