can you get a shell on your kindle?
i heard somebody talking about this the other day. Is it possible>?

Linux "shell" program; a command line interface to the underlying OS. Like "cmd>" for DOS.
Igor showed how to access this on Kindle 1. Mostly pointless, as I think he discovered, but fascinating and he did it amazingly quickly through the debug port (also seems to be on K2 from what I've seen posted). Igor is pretty clever; we haven't seen a K2 hack attack yet. |

I don't have Kindle 2 but yes, it seems it has a similar debug port.
