Kindle 4 NT custom font?

I'm new, this is my first Kindle.

I'm noticing talks of font bundles, and so I'm curious. Is there a way to hack the kindle to accept the Bookletter Goudy 1911 font?

http://www.theleagueofmoveabletype.c...ookletter-1911

thanks for any help or suggestions

I don't see in that thread any references to OTF fonts, such as the one I linked above.

Thanks though, and yes I did see the thread. Seems I may have to find a way to convert it, hoping that's possible..

@jakimo: Both the framework & the webkit stuff should handle OTF (TT or CFF) (mostly) properly, especially with a custom FreeType lib.

It's a bit dumber than on FW 5.x, though, so you will have to *rename* them to .ttf.

(The only thing that might cause trouble is TT/OpenType *collections* file, and, even then, YMMV).

The usual warnings still apply, playing with fonts on a Kindle has always been and still is a fun way to potentially trigger a framework temper tantrum .
