Danke, auch ich habe mich dort beworben.
Wenn es jedoch nicht klappt, werde ich mich erst mal im April in den USA nach einem Gerät umsehen. Eventuell ist es ja dann statt PRS-505 ein PRS-700. Wie sind denn die Geräte im Vergleich bzgl. des Displays ? Die Größe ist ja gleich, aber ich habe da von einigen Problemen gehört. Vielleicht hat ja schon jemand Erfahrungen und kann zu den folgenden Dingen etwas schildern: 1. Gefahr von Staub im Display? 2. Für die Seitenbeleuchtung des PRS-700 ist die Oberfläche geändert worden und die Lesbarkeit im Sonnenlicht schlechter ? 3. Kratzfestigkeit des Displays ? 4. Was ist besser ? Bedienung durch Touch-Display (PRS-700) oder Tasten (PRS-505) |

Wenn Du jetzt einen PRS505 hast wirst Du vermutlich vom Display enttäuscht sein, durch den Touchscreen wirkt die Schrift vergleichsweise verwaschen, die Led-Beleuchtung leuchtet das Display nur unregelmäßig aus und ist deshalb allenfalls als Notbeleuchtung zu gebrauchen.
Soweit ich das bis jetzt mitbekommen habe löst der PRS-700 bei Leuten die vorher keinen ebookreader hatten und bei Leuten die die Suchfunktion unbedingt brauchen Begeisterung aus, bei denen die ihn gezwungenermaßen mit ihrem alten ebookreader vergleichen eher Enttäuschung. siehe auch hier |

Nein. Ich habe noch keinen Reader (deshalb bewerbe ich mich ja), beobachte aber den Markt schon länger. Deshalb sind mir die Unterschiede schon bewußt. Für das Lesen von Romanen (sequentielles Umblättern) tendiere ich zum PRS-505. Aber für das Lesen von Fachliteratur, Nachschlagewerken u.a. ist der PRS-700 sicherlich besser geeignet, wegen der Suchfunktionen und der schnelleren Bedienung/Reaktion. Nun ja, wenn mir Sony/Thalia einen PRS-505 gönnt, ist die erste Entscheidung klar. Eventuell hole ich mir dann zusätzlich in den USA einen PRS-700 und habe den direkten Vergleich, bzw. kann die Reader je nach Einsatz bestücken. Wenn es nicht klappt, würde mich das Urteil eines Umsteigers interessieren, der längere Zeit mit dem 505er gearbeitet hat und nun den 700er verwendet. Bleibt er beim 700er. Oder ist die Qualität des Displays so entscheidend, daß er zum 505er zurückkehrt. Mit anderen Worten: Welches Gerät setzt sich im durchschnittlichen Alltagsgebrauch durch, wenn man beide Geräte zur Verfügung hätte ? |

Ich hab mich auch beworben. Ich bin nämlich daran interessiert, mal aus erster Hand zu sehen, wie sich meine ebooks auf dem Sony präsentieren. Zudem glaube ich, daß Amazon den Startzeitpunkt seines Kindle zumindest in Deutschland arg verhauen hat und deutsche ebooks wohl eher als epubs und pdfs (arrgh) zu haben sein werden. Gleiches gilt für Frankreich.

Ihr habt aber schon alle das Kleingedruckte gelesen und wisst, dass Sony / Thalia im Falle Eures Gewinnes "Vornamen, Berufsgruppe, Testberichte, Fotos und Zitate von Sony Deutschland und Thalia für werbliche Zwecke, auch im Internet, gebraucht und veröffentlicht werden dürfen". Und dass über dieses "Gewinnspiel" selbstverständlich auch ein Adresspool generiert wird.
Ich will´s nicht madig machen, nur mal drauf hinweisen. |

Mal im ernst. Was ist daran denn so schlimm. Solange mein Nachname, meine Adresse und meine Kontonummer nicht veröffentlicht werden, sowie mein Arbeitsplatz, meine Firma etc. unbekannt bleiben, bin ich doch in besseren Händen als bei der Telekom. ;-) PS: Aber wenn Du fernbleibst, streigen die Chancen für mich. ;-) |

Ich muß gestehen, dass ich mich - obwohl ich bereits einen Sony habe - auch beworben habe. Meine Frau will nämlich unbedingt auch einen.
Dafür könnte ich denen natürlich auch einen sehr genauen Testbericht schreiben...hab den Sony ja in allen Lebenslagen in Benutzung und sogar bereits einen verschlissen (ok, war selber schuld - man sollte die Dinger ja auch nicht als unfreiwilligen Basketball benutzen). Mit meinen Adressdaten können die machen, was die wollen - die kursieren eh bereits in allen möglichen Adresspools dieser Erde. Da kommts auf Thalia auch nicht mehr an... |
