I need help in South Korea
Are there any MobileRead members in South Korea? I need someone to help me buy a device that's only available there.

Try contacting hanbooks.com, they got stuff on request for me before. And they carry electronic dictionaries, so it almost matches their profile.

Which device are you looking for? Some time ago I was doing research on an ebook reader only available in Korea, and stumbled upon an English page on their website with product and contact info. Have you tried looking for something similar for the device you are looking for? If they have an e-mail address for inquiries, you could try contacting them directly to see if they would accommodate your purchase request. I'm sure they have someone there who can read and respond in English.

Here are 3 more places you can try and ask:
http://www.hmart.com/ This is a Korean grocery/general store with locations around the US, including 3 in Virginia. They may be more willing to help you if you go to their store in person. http://www.nycgo.com/?event=view.venuedetails&id=157478 Koryo Books is a bookstore in Koreatown. They sell books and some electronic stuff. http://asiasoft.com/index.php?sid=41...107475173c2663 In NJ, they sell Asian electronics. Hope something works! |

Nate, I have two friends who are teaching in South Korea. I'm sure one of them would be glad to help you out.

Hi Rclott! Welcome! Are you brand spanking new, or did you emerge from lurkdom in order to do a good deed for Nate? Welcome and it is good to have you.
