Trouble is, most the book that interst me comes with drm. And there's no point to an e-reader if you don't have books with it. But then, the first thing i do is de-drm my books.
Not buying drmed music was easy. I get the cd's , make mp3 and voila. With book, the only alternative is to wait ages for the book to be published in a can be carried aroud format. And then, what's the point of the e-reader if you have to buy paper book anyway ? |

Sorry GeoffC, we will do so. Unfortunately Bookeen doesn't proactively publish any news at the moment and hence most of the discussions related to "Bookeen public relations" wander a little bit off the topic at the moment.

And we end this sorry tale on a Sunday, with no further news to report from our kind friends at Bookeen as to what is happening, when, where and to what ...
Further installments when news breaks - sometime in the foreseeable future - which, unluckily for most of us - is a long way in the distance - so far that none may see it .... |

Sorry GeoffC for pushing your thread off topic, but look how it's thriving. Doesn't it fill you with proud parental joy?
Thanks everyone for explanation. It does make sense now, although the aftertaste of weirdness still remains. |

The 10 and 20 per page is a lot better. I just don't like the 5 per page. It looks really ugly.

[QUOTE=JSWolf;453919]20 is good, but not when you have 5-10 pages .... still needs that proper arrangement that we are hoping will be mentioned on the Blog at some time ... soon ....

Hang on Jon - don't forget I (only) have the original Cybook - not the weltbild one - that doesn't have the option for sub-folders (which is what I think you are referring to) [one of the problems of threads going off topic .....] |
