Having page progress buttons on the right would be nice. I use right sided buttons on my N800, and now on my PRS-505, since i hold with my right hand. That is the one thing I'd like.

The only time I would ever use it would be if I was laid up in the hospital, unable to move my arms. I'd have someone turn on TTS, turn the volume down, and I'd have auto-turning pages.

I'd rather listen to my audible books Some I've last heard in 2005 and would love the time to listen again!

Otherwise, I'd much rather read. This way, I can determine the voices of my characters. I can determine my own interpretation of their words and inflection. |

People in the computer industry have "perverted" this definition and have come up with the term "display resolution" which is the same for both the 5" and the 6" at 800x600 but if you remember the old TV test screens with black lines on it, those were used to test the TV's resolution (i.e. the ability to resolve fine lines). But I agree, some are just boring to listen to And reading while driving isn't generally well accepted (or if you have both hands in a cast, as was your first statement ) |

Barbara Rosenblatt, who reads the "Amelia Peabody" and "Mrs. Pollifax" series, is great as well. Her range of "voices" and accents is astonishing.

You can have thumb-wheel on any side you wish. The device has even built-in accelerometer that will turn the display. You can switch the accelerometer off for reading in the bed. |

I also listen when proctoring school labs or exams - I can watch the students and not be bored silly! I was concerned that I wouldn't use an ebook reader because I am so hooked on audio books. But now it's about 50/50 use for each ... |

It won't have a built in light, but you can get a battery operated light that clips on. As for cases, the version that will be released in America is going to come with a case. I believe there are cases for the original BeBook, so I would think they would do a case for the mini too. Hope that helps! |
