Pocketbook Lux5 sleep mode...

Good day.
Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 does not go to sleep-shutdown.
It is set to 10 minutes, but it doesn't happen that way. In addition, the battery drains more and more. Maybe because it doesn't go to sleep mode. The only way to put the reader to sleep is to close the case or press the button. The problem occurred with the latest firmware. Factory reset didn't help...
Advice?
Thanks.

Check the clock if it works. If not, you have to change motherboard.

You're right. The watch is broken. The reader was broken, but the power connector is miniature...
If the error is just not turning off, I'll leave it alone. It will be bigger than 6 inches in time...
Thanks

I have heard that opening the device and disconnecting the battery for a few minutes (before reassembly) has fixed the issue for some people.

This would obviously void any warranty and proceeding is at your own risk etc etc.

Hello.
Opening it wasn't a problem, but the battery connector is really a miniature piece of plastic. +- 3mm x 3mm. I didn't have the courage to take it apart even with tweezers...

The connector is tiny, but the guy in this YT video didn't seem to be too worried or especially delicate about it:

I'll try when I get the matching tweezers. The ones I have are big. Thanks.

You don't need tweezers. Either touch the cord near the plug and carfully lift it up or put a plecdrum or some other non conducting small piece near the part were the cable is running into the connector and carefully lift it up. This is the easiest part!

You are absolutely right. The connector must be lifted, not pulled. Run the clock and the reader falls asleep. So OK. Apparently some SW error. Maybe they will fix it in the 6.8 update, although I personally doubt that it will come for the Lux 5... When they have a new Versa on the market.

Thanks.
