I would not expect any feedback as this point. The current Python 3 betas are for use by plugin developers to update and test their own plugins. My understanding is that there will be a separate round of betas for testing by users once enough plugins have been updated that the betas will be generally useful without sacrificing functionality.

yes, there will be an actual beta for users as well. However, many users on linux are already using calibre with python three because the distributions have switched to it.
