Does the option exist to use publisher fonts? That goodereader reviewer said the glo hd doesn't have it.

When I asked if the light goes down to zero, what I mean is, does it fade until it's almost nothing (unlike the glo)? I don't mean if it turns off.

There's "document default" which I assume is what you are talking about. If so, yes you can choose that option for the font.

When you asked about it going down to zero, zero means off. I mean you can argue that the Glo goes down to zero because it still does fade down and then turns off at zero even if at 1% it's still pretty bright. I mentioned earlier that the light does go a lot lower than the Glo already so I assume it is doing what you are asking.

Okay, because I tested a PW2 in a pitch-black room, and the light went so low that I could hardly see it. It sounds like the glo hd light doesn't go as low. Shame that.

I don't have a paperwhite to compare it to so I can't say if it goes lower than the paperwhite. It's hard to guess the brightness level by eye but I would say that Glo HD at about 10-15% is the same as the Glo at 1%.

I've added a photo so you can compare yourself. Glo on left, Glo HD on right both set to 1%. Of course the camera exposed for the brighter light on the Glo.

I think I'm going to wait for it appear in the store so that I can read all of the comments here. I'm glad to hear that it will fit the case (aftermarket) that I'm using with my Glo.

For the most part it's flat. When it gets closer to the edges it tapers similarly to the Aura but it doesn't taper as much and also the area that it tapers is smaller. It doesn't start tapering until it almost reaches the area where the bezels are.

Regarding the Glo case on the Glo HD, what about access to the power button and the USB port?

Since the official Kobo sleepcover(non leather) holds onto the kobo from the corners, the power and usb port are easily accessed. The USB port is in the exact same location on the Glo and Glo HD. You would have to check with any 3rd party cases if they would cover the power button which is now centred on the top of the device.

Thanks, i had a couple of sleepcovers for 4 euro's with the click in, so i can use them
