Just a couple of weeks before Christmas, the Bobbsey twins meet Mr. Carford who owns nearby Snow Lodge. Although the lodge has been closed for several years, Mr. Carford offers to let the Bobbsey family spend their winter vacation at the lodge.

This is the fifth book in the famous series produced in the early 1900s by the Stratemeyer Syndicate.
