rename files
Hi.
I was wondering if there is a way to rename the htm files in the epub automatically. For instance i have gone though an epub file with Sigil and corrected some errors. To neaten up the book and create the TOC correctly I combined every other file in the the next one. This has ended up with the files named split_002.htm split_004.htm split_006.htm and so on. Is there a way to automatically rename all the htm files? I know I can rename manually but was hoping there was some easy way to do it. |

Rename them to what?
There is a mass rename function. Just highlight all the files in the book browser and then right-click on them and choose "rename." You'll be able to choose a base name and a starting number which will automatically increment. |
