Frontlight + touchscreen + moths
When reading in the dark with my Kobo Glo moths are attracted to the light, and even the small ones are big enough to activate the touch screen and turn pages. Must be time to invest in an insect screen for my windows.

You should file a bug report with the Glo developers. I'm sure that they'll get a laugh, especially if they know about the history of computer bugs. (The term was popularized by Grace Hopper after she found a moth in the Harvard Mark II computer.)

Sounds like you need to invest in an insect screen for your Kobo, not your windows!
If you go to eBay, you can find them from the same guy that sells the screen doors for submarines. Last edited by TechniSol; 12-11-2012 at 11:08 PM. |

New tagline?
Kobo: attracted to reading like a moth to a flame. |

One hates to think where you are when you're reading in the dark ...... Our large bogong moths are considered a delicacy here, amongst those in the know. Last edited by Lynx-lynx; 12-12-2012 at 12:50 AM. |

In France, at that time of year, should you find a moth, it would be very strange... This morning we had 10°C below zero in Normandy...

All you need to do now is to train them to let them know when you've finished reading a page. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. Don |
