I have downloaded K4PC three times in the last two days and still nothing will work after it "appeared" to crash two days ago
What gives? |

For my part, the new version of K4PC crashes shortly after I open it. I have 1.5.0 loaded and it's working. However, I have high confidence that it won't reopen once it's been closed. It's been open since Sunday.
My machine isn't particularly old...I purchased it less than three years ago. I imagine I'll have to find a different machine to use with K4PC. |

Forgive the question, but have you tried uninstalling the old version and installing the new?

I'm having the same problem as Zippity it just sits there and does nothing,have downloaded it twice and uninstalled old version,didn't noticed until i just bought some more books.

I went through the same thing last night. I had K4PC v 1.4, when I clicked on the icon nothing happened. I went on to Amazons site and downloaded and installed the new version without uninstalling the old and it worked. My tools didn't work, but after uninstalling the plugins and reinstalling it worked fine as well.

So if I was trying to add archived books to different collections, it would keep interrupting me, and then when it finally finished reloading the thumbnails, it would be back at the top of the screen again and I would have to try to figure out where I was. But when I tried to register, I'd get that same Windows error message. I ended up moving most of the files in the My Kindle Content to a new folder and was finally able to get Kindle4PC to work. My books now show up as archived, but at least I can use the program again. |

Been busy and haven't had a chance to answer before, but yes, I did indeed install it. I just checked, and my version is the same as eskimo49 - 1.10.1 (40262). For what it's worth the book is called "Gods of Asgard: A graphic novel interpretation of the Norse myths" by Erik Evensen. I can send the book to my cloud reader and my tablet, but not to Kindle4PC.
