E-Book-Cards - Ein Weg zum "Anfüttern"?
Interessante Idee für haptisch orientierte Leute. Und evtl. als Mitbringsel?
"E-Books zum Anfassen" als Vermarktungsweg, via Buchreport. (Bei MM war mir sowas noch gar nicht aufgefallen.) |

Mmh, das halte ich für eine Exotenidee. Auch wenn sie erst mal einen guten Eindruck macht.
1.) Die Auslieferung läuft so wie es aussieht wohl nur über ebookcards. Damit binde ich mich als Verleger und als Kunde an diesen einen Anbieter. Das würde nur Sinn machen, wenn ich den Code z.B. auch bei thalia.de, etc. eingeben kann. Oder am PC in jeder Buchhandlung. 2.) Ich stelle mir gerade vor, alle 90.000 Neuerscheinungen würden als Karten erscheinen. Und nächstes Jahr weitere. Dafür braucht man nach einem Jahr schon einen Flugzeughangar, um alle Kartenständer unterzubringen ... |

Das ist doch irgendwie albern und ich kann mir kaum vorstellen, dass es eine gute Geschäftsidee ist.
Der stationäre Buchhandel wird nun mal für die mobilen Lesegeräte nicht benötigt. Da können nur die Verlage gegensteuern, indem sie Bundles von Buch mit Datei anbieten. Alles andere läuft eher auf Gutscheine hinaus, wie es die großen Ketten anbieten, die ich dann auch online einlösen kann. |

Es kann sicher nicht mehr als eine Ergänzung sein und eine Möglichkeit für den stationären Buchhandel, den (Beratungs-)Kontakt mit dem Kunden nicht zu verlieren. Es dürfte auch kaum für Leute interessant sein, die Foren wie dieses hier besuchen . Aber, wie in der Überschrift angesprochen, als Mittel eine Brücke zu bauen bzw. für EBooks zu interessieren ist die Idee so schlecht nicht. Aber es ist wirklich eher ein Gimmick als ein Vollvermarktungskonzept.
K-Thom, dein Einwand zu 2.), naja, der ist natürlich schön, aber auch stark hinkend. Es stellt sich ja auch so niemand alle Neuerscheinungen ins Regal. |
