Help Unbricking K3 with ATK
I downloaded the image kernel 3.0.2 and using ATK 1.7 to try to install new image on my kindle keyboard b008 using the guide K3noobdebrickatk
The kindle is in usb mode and shows up in devices as -jungo -MX35 -WinDriver I am using the drivers that came with ATK 1.7 But when I run ATK enter the settings in the guide K3noobdebrickatk I get an error message "Failed to intial flash or Do not support this Flash , please reset the target" any help please so I can unbrick this kindle Last edited by tootie1221; 08-27-2012 at 06:58 AM. |

I also seem to recall that problem reported recently.

Well put a new battery in and all is well again no need to flash no lockups so far.
Just such strange behavior from a device that only has a duff battery. Many thanks to all on this forum for your patience I have repaired meny things but nothing as temperamental as a kindle we live and learn. |
