Text to speech question
The user guide for the Kindle 3 says this:
"By default, content is spoken with a male voice, but using the 5-way, you can select a female speaking voice. You can also slow down or increase the rate of speech as well as pause or turn off Text-to-Speech." How does one do this? |

Press the Aa button and you should get a pop-up with all the Text-to-Speech options. However, they'll be greyed out if your book has TTS disabled, which some publishers do.

So: turn it on, go back to Aa menu, and you should be able to change things. It will think about it a bit, then resume. |
