Sonystyle website countdown
Does anyone know what the countdown at http://www.sonystyle.com is? The device looks like a laptop but with the recent release of the new Kindle could this be a new reading device?

If the reflection in the bottom belongs to it, then it looks like a tablet device.

The Xperia X10 has been in market for at least a couple of months ... April or May anyway.

Considering that its facing down, and we can see the back of the thing, the most one could say that it is a device with a single screen.. though the top and side view looks like something could open up or slide or something..
If you look at the reflection at the bottom it looks like there's color on that screen. (Like a peach color) A new e-reader? I dunno, the color reflecting looks too bright for color-e-ink and by most estimates color is a few years off... Maybe sony's ditching e-ink and making an lcd e-reader! A tablet? Can't really tell from the size, but to me it looks a bit too... narrow? |

I delayed ordering a couple of new Kindles last night because of this!
Oh well, I guess it was just a case of wishful thinking on my behalf ... |

Even if we didn't already know it's a phone, we'd know it's not a Reader as it has two sides to it.

I don't get the deal about thinking it's the Sony Xperia X10 ... it's been a big seller in Canada for a couple of months or more ... it's sold by Rogers, the largest wireless carrier here: http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirel...0ABLKR&N=52+11

It's the U.S. Release (AT&T would be the carrier)
