DX not showign the cropped version of a pdf

Why isn't the DX showing the cropped version of a pdf? Is there a way around this?

I have a few pdf files with a useless footer text. I cropped it with NitroPdf, but the Kindle stills show the footer. Very annoying.

I have a similar problem with a few pdf books I purchased: Watching them in Acrobat Reader is fine. When I want to read them on the Kindle, the Kindle not only shows me the text, but also some sort of cutting marks. There for the page is much bigger and the text almost unreadable. I assume this is the same problem: The Kindle is not showing the cropped version of a pdf...

PS: Is there a way in Acrobat Reader Pro to export a cropped version, that the Kindle shows correctly?
