Screen when sleeping

I hadn't updated the firmware on my Clara HD for several months, so I downloaded and applied the latest update. That was a mistake.

Previously, when the reader went to sleep, I had a blank screen, which is what I wanted. Now, I get an advertisement for Walmart - definitely not good.

It seems that my only choices are Walmart plastered on the screen, or the cover of my currently read book.

Is there any way to get the blank screen back? If I have to downgrade the firmware, what was the last version that allowed a blank sleep screen?

Never mind. It seems that I had done a slight mod long ago to get the blank screen. In the "affiliate.conf" file, I blanked the "affiliate=" value to get the blank screen when sleeping.

I did this so long ago, that I had forgotten about it.
